Our Story

Bluet Bakery is a small-batch bakery based in Cabbagetown, Toronto, owned and operated by Yeva and James. What began as a shared dream has grown into a cozy space dedicated to thoughtful, handcrafted desserts.

The bakery was born from Yeva’s lifelong aspiration to open a bakery of her own, paired with James’s upbringing in a family of cooks.

The name Bluet (pronounced “blue at”) is inspired by the Azure bluet flower, native to Canada’s east coast. Known for its quiet resilience, the flower reflects the spirit behind the bakery. The name also holds personal meaning—Yeva’s love of flowers and her affinity for shades of blue and purple helped shape its identity.

At Bluet Bakery, we specialize in chunky cookies, mousse desserts, and a rotating selection of baked goods and specialty drinks—each made in small batches with attention to detail and flavor.
